Over 407,000 Russian troops were killed

During the day, the destruction of 1,160 Russian soldiers, seven tanks, 35 armored combat vehicles and a large amount of other military equipment was confirmed.

The total battle losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022 to February 22, 2024 was approximately 407,240 (+1160) people killed (data on enemy losses for the previous day, February 21, is given in brackets). The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on the morning of February 22.

In addition, the Russian army was defeated during the mass invasion of Ukraine:

  • tanks – 6523 (+7) units,

  • armored combat vehicles – 12373 (+35) units,

  • artillery system – 9867 (+41) units,

  • MLRS – 997 (+5) units,

  • air defense system – 680 (+2) units,

  • aircraft – 339 (+1) units,

  • helicopter – 325 (+0) units,

  • UAV of operational-tactical level – 7596 (+36),

  • cruise missiles – 1903 (+0),

  • ship/boat – 25 (+0) units,

  • submarines – 1 (+0) unit,

  • automotive equipment and tank trucks – 12924 (+63) units,

  • special equipment – 1566 (+8).

We remind you that the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a strike with two missiles from HIMARS MLRS on a training ground near the village of Trudovskoye in the Volnovakha district of the Donetsk region on Tuesday, February 20. At the time of the strike, on the training ground the servicemen of the 36th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade. It was reported that at least 60 enemy fighters were killed.

After that, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a concentration of invaders in the Kherson region at a training ground located near Podo-Kalinovka. Russian public pages report “many dead.”
