The press service of the Zaporozhye region police reported this today, February 21.
It is noted that the other day the Russians attacked one of the seven Zaporozhye districts – six strikes were carried out from Smerch. Law enforcement officers who arrived to document the consequences and neutralize the remains of the occupiers’ deadly weapons found the remains of shells on the streets of the village and beyond.
Having examined one of the impact sites in an open area, explosives experts found that the warhead of the ammunition did not detonate. In addition, due to significant damage, it could not be safely transported. So the police decided to destroy it directly at the point of impact, the report says.
The police urge citizens to be vigilant and remember the rules for handling explosive objects.
