The head of the ruling regime of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, at the Chkalovsky airport presented the Main Command of the Russian Aerospace Forces with a copy of the icon of the Savior Not Made by Hands and presented state awards to the units of the Aerospace Forces military. This was confirmed by a video posted by Russian media on Wednesday, February 21.
It should be noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed seven Russian aircraft last week.
In particular, over the past three days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down six Russian aircraft, including a Su-34 fighter-bomber and a Su-35 fighter.
