In the Marinka area, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 attacks, and in the Avdeevka area – 10 assaults. And in the Novopavlovsk direction the enemy tried unsuccessfully six times to improve their tactical position. This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for February 20.
Three enemy assaults were repulsed by the Defense Forces in the Liman direction, and two attacks were each in the Bakhmut, Kupyan and Zaporozhye directions. In the Kherson direction, the Russians tried to storm the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces along bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper.
Air Force aviation today carried out strikes on 10 areas where personnel are concentrated and five anti-aircraft missile systems of the Russian Army. And the missile forces attacked nine areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment and 10 artillery assets were concentrated.
Let us remind you that on the southern front of Ukraine there is a massive build-up of Russian troops in the Zaporozhye region. CNN, citing its own sources among the Ukrainian military, reported that the aggressor had assembled a 50,000-strong army there.
