The former “governor” of occupied Sevastopol, Dmitry Ovsyannikov, who was arrested in London, was released on bail. The decision was made by Southerk Crown Court. At the court hearing, it emerged that, in addition to Russian, he also has British citizenship, the BBC reports.
Under the terms of bail, British and Russian passports remain with law enforcement officials, and Ovsyannikov himself must obey a curfew from 21:00 to 05:00, stay at home with electronic bracelet and report to the police daily.
The trial of the former Russian official and collaborator will take place in March 2025.
