NAPC announced the removal of the company from the list of war sponsors after it stopped cooperating with the Russian Federation.
The American company Liberian International Ship & Corporate Registry has stopped transporting Russian oil. After that, in Ukraine he was not included in the list of war sponsors, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption reported on Monday, February 19.
The company is understood to have sent a letter to the NAPC, stating that it has fulfilled the conditions that would allow it to be delisted. In particular, LISCR reported that all Russian Sovcomflot vessels were removed from the Liberian International Ship and Corporate Register.
“From now on, Russia’s ability to transport its oil becomes more limited, its isolation from the civilized world deeper, and its ability to accept “petrodollars” less,” the NAPC wrote.
They also noted that they are open to cooperation with international business and are ready to hold consultations on the steps necessary to exclude each individual company from the list.
It was previously reported that NAPC had added Weatherford to the list of war sponsors. The company continues to operate in the Russian Federation, paying taxes there and providing the technological capabilities of the aggressor country in the oil industry.
