The President said that the situation today is very difficult in some parts of the front – precisely where Russian troops have concentrated the highest reserves.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that Russian occupiers are taking advantage of the fact that military aid to Ukraine has been delayed. The lack of weapons is notable. He said this in his evening speech on February 19.
Zelensky also said that he visited the defenders’ positions at the direction of Kupyansky. There he visited the 14th separate mechanized brigade. The military reported basic needs.
“The situation is now very difficult in some parts of the front – where the Russian troops have concentrated the maximum reserves. They are taking advantage of the delays in aid to Ukraine. And these are visible things. There is a shortage of artillery. What is needed for in front-line air defense and a wider range of our weapons,” the president said.
He emphasized that maximum work is being done with partners to restore and continue support.
The head of state specifically thanked those companies that have already established the production of weapons, drones, shells and electronic warfare.
“Of course, we still cannot provide all the needs thanks only to our own capabilities, but every month gives Ukraine its strength, its capabilities. I thank everyone who works for this,” said Zelensky.
We remind you that 70 clashes took place on the front during the day.
