The launcher of the occupying drones was discovered by intelligence officers of the Ukrainian special operations forces.
The reconnaissance was carried out using a drone, which detected a ZALA-type occupier drone.
The 73rd Naval Special Operations Center said that they then began to monitor the owners of the drone. Having tracked the target, the military managed to record the movement of a mobile launcher with containers for storing ZALA and Lancet drones.
Then the MTR operators adjusted the fire of the HIMARS missile and artillery unit of the Defense Forces to the target.
As a result of the fire, the mobile launcher and drone storage containers caught fire.
Unfortunately, after the attack, the Russian drone operators managed to escape the HIMARS strike area alive.
This is not the first time that the American HIMARS rocket launcher has been used to destroy Russian reconnaissance UAV operators.
Back in 2023, these rocket launchers began hitting Russian mobile drone launchers.
