Russian propagandists say Zaluzhny gave the signal for action days after his dismissal.
Russian propaganda Telegram channels are distributing a fake photo in which the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, is allegedly giving an encrypted signal “to act.” The Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security reported this on Sunday, February 18.
Thus, enemy propagandists claim that Zaluzhny submitted the mysterious sign a few days after the promulgation of President Vladimir Zelensky’s order on his resignation.
As noted by the Center for Strategic Communications, in fact, to create a fake, Kremlin propaganda processed an original photo from the social networks of the President of Ukraine dated February 8 in Photoshop. This photo shows a handshake between Zelensky and Zaluzhny.
It noted that the distribution of a propaganda-edited photo was a clumsy attempt by the Russian Federation to discredit the general.
It was previously reported that the Russians have come up with another fake. According to their version, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky “tried to kill” his French colleague Emmanuel Macron.
