The body of a man was found among the rubble in the area of the Russian strike in Slavyansk in the Donetsk region. The Office of the Prosecutor General announced this on February 18.
It was noted that the day before at 19:40 the Russian army launched a missile attack in the center of Slavyansk.
“As a result of the attack by the invaders, the building where the inflexibility center and the social canteen were located was destroyed. At that time, there was a guard in the building who was engulfed in flames. His body was probably found in the wreckage by rescuers on the morning of February 18,” prosecutors stressed.
Also on February 17, the enemy fired missiles at Kramatorsk, Donetsk region.
“The target for one of them was a private residential building where three civilians were located. A 46-year-old woman and her 23-year-old son received injuries incompatible with life – their bodies was released. During the search and rescue operations, the remains of a corpse, probably the mother of the deceased woman, were also found,” the report said.
In addition, spouses of pensioners who were injured while in their own homes were taken to the hospital. It was a 78-year-old man and his 75-year-old wife.
More than 20 houses and a car were damaged by debris from the weapons and blast wave.
A pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings was launched regarding violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
We remind you that on the night of February 17, Russian troops shelled Slavyansk and Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region.
