On Saturday, February 17, the Defense Forces defeated the Russian offensive in the direction of Zaporozhye. This was reported by the Western operational command.
It was noted that Ukrainian defenders destroyed 18 units of enemy equipment (including three tanks).
“About 70 Russian soldiers were sent to Kobzon’s concert, 80 ordered tickets. After the offensive, the Russians retreated to their previous positions,” the military stressed.
They added that the enemy had attracted 30 pieces of equipment and a relatively large number of personnel.
Earlier, the General Staff reported that on February 17, the Russian army tried 13 times to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces west of Verbovoy and Rabotino, Zaporozhye region, but it was unsuccessful.
