Rheinmetall will build a plant for the production of artillery shells in Ukraine
The new plant will produce six-figure quantities of 155 mm artillery shells per year. Rheinmetall will own 51% of the shares of the joint venture, and the Ukrainian company will own 49%. Rheinmetall is Ukraine’s largest partner. In particular, in 2022 the group accepted orders worth approximately 900 million euros, and in 2023 the volume of orders increased to approximately 2.5 billion euros.
