Hungarian Defense Minister Krystof Szalay-Bobrownicki said this.
Hungary – on the sidelines of a ministerial meeting in Brussels – signed a statement of intent with 20 other NATO member states to create a Mine Action Coalition, Szalay-Bobrovnicki said.
He added that Hungary will contribute to the activities of the Lithuanian-led coalition by conducting mine action training.
As a result of the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, 20 member countries of the alliance united into a “mine clearance coalition.” Currently, eight so-called “coalitions of capabilities” have already been created, including tank, artillery, naval, and air defense.
