This law, which provides for the legalization of medical cannabis in Ukraine, was signed on December 13. This is evidenced by the information in the legislative act card published on the parliament website.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted Law No. 3528-IX on December 21, 2023. The next day, people’s deputies from the parliamentary faction All-Ukrainian Association “Batkivshchyna” registered in parliament a draft resolution to cancel the Rada’s decision regarding the adoption of this law, which blocked the signing of the law by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and the President.
On January 16, 2024, the Verkhovna Rada did not support the Batkivshchyna resolution, so the signing of the law was unblocked.
