The self-proclaimed Belarusian president claimed that the counter-terrorism operation was so quiet that no one noticed it, adding that saboteurs were detained two to three times a week.
The self-proclaimed leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, claims that saboteurs allegedly tried to enter Belarus, but they were stopped without anyone noticing. He said this on Friday, February 16, at a Belkoopsoyuz meeting, Zerkalo wrote.
Lukashenko said that on February 16, several saboteurs were allegedly detained at the Ukrainian border, “creeping across the border” in the swamps and “throwing explosives.” It was noted that among the saboteurs there were Ukrainians and Belarusians.
“The counter-terrorist operation has just ended, which you didn’t notice. This is good. This is none of your business. You must calmly do your job. The security service-military operation has just ended. All the saboteurs have been imprisoned. . And among among them are Belarusians. And it’s almost two-three times a week,” he said.
Lukashenko added that the tasks for the ministries will be increasingly strict to “avoid relaxation, including taking into account the situation throughout the country.”
Referring to negotiations between unnamed individuals, Lukashenko also said that if Russia loses the war against Ukraine, Belarus will be “destroyed” and “part of it will be given to Poland.”
We remind you that the previous day, an anti-terrorist regime was introduced in the Lelchitsy district of the Gomel region of Belarus, which borders Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that Russia and Belarus have concentrated about 22 thousand troops near the northern border of Ukraine.
