The Hungarian authorities decided to join the mine action coalition. Previously, 20 NATO member countries joined it and will engage in mine clearance in Ukraine. Hungarian Defense Minister Krystof Szalay-Bobrownicki announced this on Facebook.
In Ukraine, one of the most important tasks affecting the daily life of the population is demining… The Hungarian Defense Forces are contributing to the activities of the coalition led by Lithuania by conducting demining exercises, the statement said.
The NATO Mine Action Coalition, which will deal with mine clearance in Ukraine, was created in Brussels on February 15 at a meeting of the member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance.
Let us remind you that on February 14, a meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine was held in the Ramstein format. There, a drone coalition has been created, and the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Coalition has officially begun work.
