Air defense forces shot down 13 missiles of various types during the Russian attack, the air force said.

On the night of February 15, Russian Nazis attacked Ukraine with air-launched Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles, sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles, Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles (North Korean version), and S anti-aircraft guided missiles -300, guided by X-59 aircraft missiles.
According to the air force command, launches of 26 missiles of different types were recorded.
Air defense forces shot down:
- eight Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles;
- ballistic missile “Iskander-M”/KN-23;
- two Kalibr cruise missiles;
-
two X-59 guided aircraft missiles.
Due to the Russian attack on Ukraine, Poland scrambled fighter jets into the sky on the morning of February 15. The operational command of the Armed Forces reports that there is intense activity by Russian long-range aviation associated with missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine.
All necessary procedures have been initiated to ensure the safety of Polish airspace, and we are monitoring the situation. We warn you that Polish and allied aircraft have been involved, which may result in increased noise levels, especially in the south-eastern part of the country,” the message says.
