On February 12, DBR Communications Advisor Tatyana Sapyan said during a telethon that they already have a decision to seize two apartments in Kyiv and one in Kharkov, as well as a plot of land.
Sapyan noted that most of the property was acquired during the war.
Morozyuk, when she left Grinkevich, insisted that during the relationship she received only a ring and a necklace as a gift. She wrote that they did not give her apartments, cars or real estate.
After the scandal with the Grinkevichs, the artist announced that she was breaking off her engagement with the son of a Lviv businessman, Roman Grinkevich.
Morozyuk promised to sell his gifts – a ring and a necklace – and give the money to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Case history
Businessman Igor Grinkevich was detained on December 29, 2023 while trying to give a bribe of 500 thousand US dollars to one of the leaders of the Main Investigation Department of the State Bureau of Investigation. He offered this money to assist in the return of property seized from companies under his control during the investigation. He is currently in custody.
As part of this case, investigators established that Grinkevich’s companies won 23 tenders to supply the Ministry of Defense with clothing worth more than 1.5 billion hryvnia. But a number of contracts were not fulfilled, some were partially implemented with delays, and orders were fulfilled by enterprises without adequate capacity. The DBR found that under these contracts, Grinkevich’s companies supplied low-quality goods, which caused damage to the state of more than 934 million hryvnia.
A group of five people led by Grinkevich were charged with suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 190, part 1, 2 art. 255 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Against the backdrop of the scandal, the Ministry of Defense terminated all contracts with Grinkevich’s companies – the last was Trade Lines Retail. And Grinkevich’s wife, professor Svetlana Grinkevich, resigned from the Lviv Polytechnic. The students demanded that the woman be removed from the educational process for the period of the pre-trial investigation of the case against her husband.
