The Russian Federal Security Service recruited an 18-year-old from Kiev several months ago. To collect intelligence information, the enemy agent settled for several days in a rented apartment near the local airfield in the Kyiv region. He was supposed to spy on the planes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine and the Office of the Prosecutor General.
At the same time, the defendant scouted the geolocations of the air defense systems of the Defense Forces and found out the accuracy of enemy “arrivals” at energy facilities. The attacker was detained while he was conducting additional exploration near a power generating plant in the capital.
Security Service investigators informed the defendant of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 (high treason committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He is now in custody. The traitor faces life imprisonment.
Let us recall that in Kyiv, an agent of the Russian FSB spied on the Third Assault Brigade and wanted to get a job at a defense plant. The attacker tried to identify and transfer to the infidels the locations of the reserve command posts of the brigade and the headquarters of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
