The fire occurred at a strategic enterprise on Leningradsky Prospekt. A fire broke out in a reconstructed workshop attached to the existing building of the plant. This was reported by Russian telegram channels.
It is noted that the fire was noted on the second and third floors of the building. The cause of the fire is unknown, and the fire area is 70 square meters.
The plant workers were evacuated. The open fire has already been extinguished. However, the risk of the fire spreading to other buildings still exists, because the roof of the workshop is still smoldering and smoking.
As is known, the Moscow MiG plant produces combat aircraft of the MiG-29 family and MiG-35 fighters for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Let us recall that on February 7, a powerful explosion occurred in the area of the test site of the Votkinsk Machine-Building Plant, which produces sea-based intercontinental ballistic missiles R30 3M30 Bulava-30 and strategic missile systems Topol-M. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said the explosion was caused by “technical work” at the plant.
