On the night of February 13, one of DTEK’s thermal power plants stopped producing electricity due to shelling from the Russian occupiers. The company’s press service reported this.
It is preliminary known that no one was injured. The enemy attack seriously damaged the plant’s equipment. The station suspended electricity production. After the shelling ceased, the power engineers began to eliminate the consequences and resume operation of the equipment.
The day before, the Ministry of Energy reported that there was no shortage in the Ukrainian energy system. Our own generation was enough to cover the needs of all consumers. It is also planned to import and export electricity.
Let us recall that on February 13, the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration, Sergei Lysak, reported several hits by Russian “Shaheds” in the Dnieper. An energy and infrastructure facility was under attack.
