Azerbaijan and Armenia have traded accusations of shelling, claiming casualties on both sides.
The Armenian Ministry of Defense announced on the morning of February 13 that the Azerbaijani military opened fire on Armenian positions, as a result of which some were injured.
“Starting at 05:30, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire from small arms on the Armenian positions located in the Nerkin Khand area, as a result of which, according to preliminary data, the Armenian side was injured,” the report said.
On the evening of February 12, AZERTAC news agency reportedthat fire was fired from the positions of the Armed Forces of Armenia in the direction of the Zangilan region, and an Azerbaijani border guard was wounded.
Let’s recall that at the end of January, Armenia invited Azerbaijan to sign a non-aggression pact.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be possible if changes are made to the Armenian Constitution.
