More than 130 settlements of Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Nikolaev regions came under artillery fire.
According to the General Staff, in the directions of Volyn and Polesie the operational situation remains without significant changes.
At the direction of Seversky and Slobozhansky, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, carries out active sabotage activities to prevent the movement of our troops in threatening directions, and increases the density of mines and explosives which is a state border barrier in the Belgorod region.
In the direction of Kupyansky, the defenders repelled 2 Russian attacks near Ivanovka and Tabaevka, Kharkov region.
In the direction of Liman, Defense Forces repelled 3 attacks of invaders in Belogorivka area of Lugansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 19 enemy attacks near Bogdanovka, Ivanovsky, Kleshchievka and Andreevka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Avdeevka, the Ukrainian defenders continued to hold back the enemy, not abandoning attempts to surround Avdeevka. Our warriors firmly held the defense, inflicting heavy losses on the invaders. Thus, in the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces repelled 23 enemy attacks in the Avdeevka area and another 18 attacks south of Tonenkoye and near Pervomaisky, Nevelsky, Donetsk region.
In the Maryinsky direction, the defenders continued to hold back the Russians near Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Pobeda and Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk region, where 32 attacks were repelled.
In the direction of Novopavlovsk, the Defense Forces repelled a Russian attack north of Priyutnoye, Zaporozhye region.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the Defense Forces repelled the enemy attack in the Rabotino area of the Zaporozhye region.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces are continuing steps to expand the bridgehead. Despite heavy losses, the enemy does not abandon attempts to dislodge units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their positions. So, in the last 24 hours, the enemy has carried out an unsuccessful attack.
We remind you that the Air Defense Forces shot down an aircraft missile and 14 suicide bombers on the night of February 12.
