Russian diplomats will complain to the UN about Ukraine, which “violated the Minsk agreements.”
Russia is calling a meeting of the UN Security Council on Monday, February 12, to mark the anniversary of the adoption of the Security Council resolution on the Minsk agreements, which Moscow has never implemented, but accuses Ukraine of violating, reports of Ukrinform.
It is noted that the meeting will start at 10.00 (17.00 Kyiv time).
The agreements, called “Minsk-2”, were signed between Ukraine and Russia in mid-February 2015. The UN Security Council adopted a resolution on February 17, 2015, approving these agreements .
Let’s recall that on February 22, 2022, before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, the Kremlin said that the Minsk agreements no longer existed, because Russia recognized the independence of the “DPR/LPR.” Moscow also stated that Minsk’s alleged non-compliance was the lead of the “SVO”.
