In Moldova, near the border with Ukraine, fragments of a Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicle were discovered. This was reported by the local publication NewsMaker.
According to media reports, Moldovan border guards said that the area where the remains of a combat drone were found is surrounded.
“This information was immediately reported to the competent authorities. Access to the area of the drone wreckage is limited. There is no risk or danger to the population in the area, and the authorities have taken all necessary measures to maintain public order, peace and security,” the police said.

“There is suspicion that the discovered drone fragments are one of the drones shot down by a Ukrainian anti-aircraft gun,” Moldova’s Border Police said.
On the night of February 11, the Russian invaders launched 45 suicide-type kamikaze drones for an air attack on Ukraine. Air defense forces and means shot down 40 of them. Enemy drones were destroyed within Kyiv, Vinnitsa, Zhitomir, Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Cherkasy, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Kherson regions.
