According to the Polish minister, Ukraine is capable of achieving victory in the war because half the world is behind it.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will force Ukrainians to fight for him if he is allowed to win Ukraine. This is what Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said in an interview with Spiegel.
Answering a question about a possible attack by the Russian army on Poland or the Baltic countries, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry said that “Putin wants to go down in history as the new Peter the Great.”
“If he wins, he will tear Ukraine to pieces, call the inhabitants into his army and use it as a base for new wars. And then containing or defeating him will cost more than helping Ukraine now ,” said Sikorsky.
In his opinion, Putin only understands the language of force, so the world should show it.
“By thinking this way, he is following the path of the Soviet Union. It fell because it started an arms race with the West until it collapsed. Now Putin is competing with half the free world, and he is not can win,” the Polish minister said.
Let’s remember that in an interview with the American journalist Tucker Carlson, Putin said that the Poles “played hard and forced Hitler to start the Second World War with them” because they were “poor.”
Poland reacted to the Kremlin leader’s statement. The Polish Foreign Ministry called Putin a dictator and paranoid, saying it was not the first time the Russian Federation had accused Poland of starting World War II.
