In the Kherson region, a Ukrainian drone blew up the house of the head of the occupation administration of Novaya Mayachka, Gennady Kolomoyets, nicknamed Tankman. The collaborator, unfortunately, survived.

The Center for Investigative Journalism reports that a Ukrainian drone flew into the home of 54-year-old Kolomoyets at about 4:00 on February 9. The explosion smashed it and damaged the house. The tanker and his wife are temporarily alive.
Novaya Mayachka is located approximately 20 km from the collision line along the Dnieper.
This is not the first attempt to blow up “Tanker” from the air. Since there has been a noticeable increase in Ukrainian drones in the village, the occupiers are trying to move less on local roads, the Center for Investigative Journalism reports, citing its own sources in the occupation.
Gauleiter Tankist, the head of the occupation administration of the New Mayachki Yubileiny community, until 2017 worked as the head of the Novo Mayachkovsky SKP “Silkommunkhoz”, and in 2020 he was elected as a deputy of the Yubileiny village council from the party “For the Future” associated with the oligarch.
Gennady Kolomoets comes from the village of Kozatskoye, Novokakhovsky community, Kakhovsky district. He moved to Novaya Mayachka in the early 1990s and received the nickname Tankman here, because he did not finish his studies at any tank school back in Soviet times.
The tankman actively cooperates with the occupiers and helped them with holding the so-called referendum and elections in September 2023, as well as with the opening of a school.
