In the Cherkasy region, gas workers discovered a gas leak in an underground low-pressure gas pipeline, which occurred as a result of unauthorized sampling. The press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported this today, February 9.
“During the inspection, it turned out that in that area there was an unauthorized withdrawal of gas from the gas distribution pipeline. The place of interference in the gas supply system was blocked without disconnecting the consumers,” said of the message.
It was also reported that in Zhmerinka, Vinnytsia region, gas supply to 30 household consumers was stopped due to corrosion damage to the gas pipeline.
