Aliyev won the presidential election in Azerbaijan with 92% of the votes

Data from the local Central Election Commission indicates that 4 million 577 thousand 693 voters voted for the current head of state.

The current President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, got 92.12% in the first presidential elections held on February 7. This was confirmed by data from the local Central Election Commission after processing 100% of the ballots, reports News Day.az.

They noted that 4 million 577 thousand 693 voters voted for Aliyev.

Based on the voting results:

  • Zahid Oruj got 2.17% (107877 votes),

  • Fazil Mustafa – 1.98% (98,623 votes),

  • Gudrat Gasanguliyev – 1.72% (85,607 votes),

  • Razi Nurullayev – 0.8% (39,727 votes),

  • Elshad Musaev – 0.66% (32956 votes),

  • Fuad Aliyev – 0.53% (25,561 votes).

It was previously reported that early presidential election voting has ended in Azerbaijan. According to exit polls, the current head of state Ilham Aliyev is in the lead.
