North Korea breaks economic cooperation with South – Reuters

Since coming to power in 2011, Kim has been pushing North Korea to develop nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles of varying ranges, raising tensions with South Korea.

North Korea’s Supreme People’s Assembly has voted to cancel all economic agreements signed with South Korea due to rapidly deteriorating relations between the states. Reuters wrote this on Wednesday, February 8.
