The Russian Federation is strengthening control over the WOT information field and forcing local residents to use Russian analogues of search engines.
Russian invaders in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine block access to Google services. So, they force people to switch to Russian analogues. This was reported on Wednesday, February 7, by the Center for National Resistance (CNS) website.
It is indicated that residents of some settlements in southern Ukraine currently do not have access to YouTube, the Google search engine, Gmail and other Alphabet services.
“The enemy is not only strengthening control in the field of information, but also encouraging us to switch to” Russian analogues, “CNS pointed out.
At the same time, CNS reminded that “the Russian company Yandex sends information to the occupiers and helps monitor the movement of Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories.”
The Center for National Resistance calls to ignore the initiatives of the invaders and the use of VPN.
Earlier, CNS learned that the Russians are increasing the number of CCTV cameras in large populated areas in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. They are used to find dishonest locals.
As we wrote earlier, the Russian military has created a base of residents of the temporarily occupied territories who are suspected of disloyalty to the occupation regime.
