New damage due to Russian shelling was discovered in the power grids of Kyiv and four regions.
Due to a missile strike by Russian aggressors in Kyiv, almost 20 thousand consumers were left without electricity. Ukrenergo reported this on Wednesday, February 7.
“Due to damage to two 110 kV high-voltage lines of local power grids in Kyiv, 19,400 consumers and healthcare institutions lost power. Emergency restoration work is ongoing. Power supply will be restored in 3-4 hours,” the message said.
In Kharkov, due to damage to Kharkovoblenergo networks, about 1,000 consumers were de-energized. At the same time, high voltage power lines work normally.
There is also new damage due to shelling in the networks of Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Nikolaev regions.
Due to the weather, 14 settlements in the Volyn region were cut off in the morning. And for technical reasons there is a shutdown in the Kirovograd region.
We remind you that tonight and this morning Russia has massively attacked Ukraine with missiles, having previously fired suicide bombs. Kyiv, Kharkov, Nikolaev and the western regions were attacked.
Later, it was found that the air defense units shot down 44 out of 64 enemy targets.
