The Ukrainian head of state plans to arrive at the Munich Security Conference, Tagesspiegel said.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will visit Germany at the end of next week. So, this is his second visit to the country since the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. The German publication Tagesspiegel reported this on Wednesday, February 7.
According to the publication, Zelensky plans to come to the Munich conference, which will take place from February 16 to 18. However, the program and the exact schedule of the visit are still classified for security reasons.
The head of the Munich Security Conference, Christoph Heusgen, did not want to confirm in the publication the fact of the participation of the Ukrainian president in the event. But, according to him, the organizers are making efforts to ensure the presence of the head of state from Kyiv.
“Zelensky was given an invitation,” he said.
We remind you that US President Joe Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will meet on February 9 to discuss aid to Ukraine.
Scholz commented on the US delay in aid to Ukraine
