We may have discussions about tactics within the team, but we are all united around our strategic goal – defeating Russia in Ukraine and restoring the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. And there are no discussions around this strategic goal, the foreign minister added to Reuters.
Kuleba emphasized that it is the constitutional right of the President of Ukraine to have the opportunity to dismiss the head of the army if he considers it necessary.
Let us recall that the President of Ukraine previously admitted that he was considering the possibility of replacing several officials, including the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
There is no resignation letter yet. On February 5, Minister of Veterans Affairs Yulia Laputina resigned.
The United States did not publicly assess the possible dismissal of Zaluzhny, calling personnel decisions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine a matter of the Ukrainian authorities. However, a number of Western media outlets report concerns about Ukraine’s partners.
