At night, the boats of the 73rd Maritime Operations Center came close to the mining platform. After special actions and cleaning, the object was replaced. The combat group retreated to a safe distance and blew up a hostile target. As a result, important enemy equipment was captured and the mast with the antenna was blown up.
According to intelligence data, the Russians used one of the illegally seized mining platforms to enhance the work of the Iranian-made Mohajer-6 reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle. Namely, they installed equipment that increases the range and radius of its operation.
The enemy used this UAV for reconnaissance and subsequent destruction of Shahed kamikaze drones against critical infrastructure facilities in southern Ukraine.
In addition, on the platform the enemy installed a Neva-B radar station for detecting surface objects (from motor boats to ships).
