The purpose of the message is to warn civilian airspace users about the possible increased activity of military aircraft in the eastern part of the airspace in response to the threatening situation on the eastern border, the department notes.
The department explains that navigation warnings are an unplanned military activity related to ensuring national security.
NOTAM is a routine message in cases where it is necessary to ensure traffic safety in Polish airspace, the Polish operational command notes.
