The Speaker of the US House of Representatives said the bill presented in the Senate was “worse than he expected.”
US House Speaker Mike Johnson said he would not vote for the $118 billion border security bill presented in the Senate, which, specifically, provides aid for Ukraine and Israel. It is stated in his message on X (Twitter), published on Monday, February 5th.
“This bill is worse than we expected and does not even come close to ending the border disaster created by the president,” the American politician said.
If the bill reaches the House floor, he said, it will be “dead on arrival.”
We remind you that the US senators published a border agreement, which includes the allocation of money in support of Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
It was previously reported that US senators entered into an agreement on border restrictions, which includes support for Ukraine.
