Calibers are transported to their bases with their carriers. After the destruction of the Ivanovets missile boat, Russian troops learned a “lesson.”
After the destruction of the missile boat Ivanovets, Russian troops hid the launch vehicles from Kalibrama to their bases on February 4. This was told by the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine Natalya Gumenyuk in telethon season.
“The calibers were brought to their bases with their carriers. The weather was completely unfavorable, the sea was blowing a strong storm before a significant change in the air fronts, and this and the lesson in Ivanovets forced the Russians to bring almost all the ships to their bases. Now there is one in the Azov Sea and one in the Black Sea, it really patrols the base point and nothing else,” she noted.
Gumenyuk also explains why the invaders started using Calibers.
“It is clear that the provision of infrastructure and maintenance of rocket launch and installation vehicles is concentrated in Sevastopol; they still cannot drag all these support facilities to Novorossiysk, and accordingly, there may be savings because of it,” he said.
According to the spokesperson, there is no need to let your guard down, because there are many calibers in the Russian Federation and it is not difficult to bring them to sea.
“They are equipped, all the launch vehicles that are in their bases are ready to go – as soon as there is an order, they will be in the open sea in two or three hours, or they may not wait for it, but launch from in the bay itself. It should also not be forgotten that they can also use calibers from the Caspian Sea, they also had this practice. So we are carefully monitoring the situation and informing the population,” Gumenyuk added.
We remind you that on the night of February 1, the Ukrainian military destroyed the Russian missile boat Ivanovets using Magura V5 sea drones.
The Ukrainian Navy reported details of the destruction of the enemy boat Ivanovets.
