Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that drafts of the decisions necessary to transfer frozen Russian assets to Ukraine are being prepared.
Ukraine and its Western allies are looking for ways to use proceeds from frozen Russian assets to rebuild Ukraine. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Saturday, February 3, in an evening speech.
“We continue to work with partners both on new sanctions against Russia and on blocking Russian methods for evading sanctions. And as proactively as possible – on confiscating Russian assets that scattered across different jurisdictions,” Zelensky said.
The President emphasized that it is now important to maintain the highest unity of the “free world” and to do “everything possible and impossible” so that Ukraine can deal a heavy blow to Russia.
“Moscow understands no one else,” Zelensky explained.
The Economic Court of Kyiv decided to recover from the Russian Federation more than UAH 1.9 billion in damages caused by PJSC Commercial Bank Ukrainian Financial World.
We remind you that Siemens and Volkswagen divisions approached the German government with a request for compensation for financial losses in Russia.
