The Ukrainian Armed Forces received from the Lithuanian government thousands of ammunition for Carl Gustav anti-tank grenade launchers and the RISE-1 remote detonation system. This aid was delivered to Ukraine on Friday, February 2. The Ministry of Defense announced this on the social network X.
The head of the Lithuanian defense department, Arvydas Anusauskas, said that Vilnius is actively and consistently helping Ukraine, because this assistance is an investment in Lithuania’s own security. He stressed that Lithuania will continue to provide Ukraine with “uncompromising military support.”
Let us remind you that on January 31, Germany announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine. The defense forces received four Bandvagn 206 tracked all-terrain vehicles, a Biber bridge laying vehicle with spare parts, three Wisent 1 armored engineering vehicles on a tank chassis, 24 armored personnel carriers and ammunition for the IRIS-T air defense system.
