We were impressed by the hostile target of the Ukrainian-made MAGURA V5 maritime drones. The Russian ship was sunk after six direct hits. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, told The War Zone.
The MAGURA V5 surface drone can perform a variety of missions: surveillance, reconnaissance, patrol, search and rescue, mine warfare, maritime security and combat missions. The drone has a range of 833 km and can reach a maximum speed of 42 knots.
Let us remind you that the destruction of the Russian missile boat “Ivanovets” became known on February 1. As a result of a number of direct hits to the hull, the Russian ship was damaged, tilted aft and sank. The operation to destroy the boat was carried out by soldiers of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“Ivanovets” is a large missile boat of Project 12411 “Molniya”, designed to destroy enemy surface combat ships, landing and transport vehicles and vessels at sea, at bases, naval groups and their cover, as well as to cover their own ships and vessels from surface and air threat vessels
Its crew is 40 people, the ship is armed with supersonic Moskit P-270 anti-ship missiles. The approximate cost of this combat unit is 60-70 million dollars.
