Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Moscow had failed Yerevan when Azerbaijan launched “anti-terrorist measures” last year.

Armenia can no longer rely on the Russian Federation as its main defense and military partner. This is what the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said, Reuters reports.

“We need to understand with whom we can actually maintain military-technical and defense relations. In the past, 95-97% of our defense relations were with the Russian Federation. Now this cannot be for both objective and subjective reasons,” the leader emphasized the Armenian government.

According to him, Armenia should think about what kind of relations it should build with the United States, France, India and Georgia.

He added that Russia failed Armenia when Azerbaijan launched “anti-terrorist measures” to regain control of Karabakh territory in September. As a result, there was an influx of ethnic Armenians living there.

We remind you that the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be possible if changes are made to the Armenian constitution.

Armenia joined the International Criminal Court
