Her colleagues from “Voice” Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this on February 1.
The agenda for the next plenary week has been sent out. Believe it or not, there is again no resolution to remove Maryana from the post of deputy of the Defense Committee. Just curious, what was the calculation? Like everyone forgot and that’s it? – Zheleznyak wrote to telegrams.
At a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on January 16, the Speaker of the Rada for the second time refused to put to a vote the resolution to recall deputy Bezugla from the post of deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence.
Co-chairman of the European Solidarity faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Irina Gerashchenko, also stated (and showed) that Bezuglaya “came with a showdown” to the sector of the EU faction, “settled here and refused to go to her place.”
Earlier, the relevant committee, whose deputy chairman was Bezugla, unanimously decided to recommend to the Rada to recall the people’s deputy from this position.
Bezuglaya stated that she was coming from her own party, faction and from the leadership of the committee. The parliamentary opposition and even some pro-government deputies have been striving for this for a long time.
In recent months, Bezugla has found herself in a number of scandals, primarily due to her fiery attacks against the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valery Zaluzhny. The deputy actively criticizes the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and is also dissatisfied with the “servants”, the law on mobilization and, in principle, supports little. For this, she herself was subjected to a lot of criticism, and opponents say that Bezugla is working on orders from the Office of the President and has no expertise at all in what she is talking about.
