The President of Ukraine and our people hope that at the NATO summit, which will take place in July 2024 in Washington, Kyiv’s efforts towards Euro-Atlantic integration will be reviewed and historic decisions will be made regarding our state. This was said on Wednesday, January 31, by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Ermak at a meeting with the US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland.
Ermak also thanked the United States for its strong defense and economic assistance and emphasized that the continuation of this support is critical to achieving success for Ukraine.
“Last year was a record-breaking year for the development of Ukrainian-American relations. The President of Ukraine and his team are determined to continue to maintain the high dynamics of bilateral dialogue, strengthening the ability of Ukraine to effectively fight the aggressor ,” said the head of the Presidential Office
The head of the office also emphasized that Ukraine is determined to return all soldiers captured by the enemy.
Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba held a meeting with United States Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland. The parties discussed Washington’s further support for Kyiv.
Earlier, Victoria Nuland called on Ukraine’s allies to prepare for a long confrontation with Russia. According to him, there is a long road ahead, for which you need to be prepared both financially and psychologically.
