On the day of June 19, Russian troops rained down on ten communities in the Donetsk region, with casualties and wounded. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
It was noted that the Russians hit the Donbas using S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, air-to-ground cruise missiles, Grads, artillery, and tanks.
Avdiivka, Toretsk, Bakhmut, Zheleznoye, New York, Zaitsevo, Bliznyaya Dilievka, Shevchenko, Pervomayskoye, Pavlovka underwent shelling.
21 civilian facilities were destroyed-12 residential buildings, six of which were multi-apartment buildings, a hospital, an administrative building, a communications company, a correctional colony, and garages.
Law enforcement is documenting evidence of war crimes in Russia. Criminal proceedings were opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).
According to the head of the Donetsk OVA Pavel Kirilenko, on the day of June 19, as a result of the Russian attack, two civilians in the region were killed – in Maksimilyanovka and Zaitsevo. Another 12 people were injured.
Since the beginning of the war, 512 civilians have died in the Donetsk region.
It was previously reported that Russian troops intensified artillery and air attacks in the Luhansk region.
