Ukrainian troops have been showing an enemy advantage across the front line in the region for two weeks in a row, said Serhiy Khlan, adviser to the UVA chief.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed the invaders from the first line of defense in the Kherson region. This was announced on June 20 by the adviser to the head of the Kherson military administration, Serhiy Khlan, on the air of the Espresso TV channel.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed the occupier from the first line of defense, the stability of which they are proud. Now the enemy is strengthening the second and third lines of defense,” Khlan noted.
According to him, the Ukrainian military has carried out specific strikes on Russian warehouses located in the rear.
“In Novaya Kakhovka three times in a row there was an exact hit on enemy ammunition depots. Near Sofiyivka, near the village of Davydov Brod, there were counter-offensive actions.
He also added that for two consecutive weeks the Armed Forces of Ukraine had shown an advantage over the enemy in the Kherson region.
“Across the front line, we had an advantage for two weeks. It was consolidated by the partisan movement, which is intensifying in the occupied region of Kherson and operating together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The two-week victory provides confident that, having received the heavy weapons necessary for the counter-offensive, we will begin to liberate our homeland, ”Hlan said.
Earlier, the UVA chief’s adviser said that the tactical successes of the Ukrainian army in advancing towards Kherson could be completely counter-offensive.
