In the Nikolaev region, an officer of a military unit was exposed as having illegally counted one million hryvnias to his subordinates for alleged “combat missions.” The State Bureau of Investigation reported this on January 31.
It was learned that from March to July 2022, the officer made additional payments to 10 subordinate military personnel who allegedly carried out combat missions on the front line. Moreover, these people are not in the area of combat operations, and some are completely out of service for no good reason.
SBI officials informed the defendant of the suspicion that almost 1 million hryvnias from the state budget were paid without reason due to his negligence.
