The value of the frozen assets of Russia’s oligarchs has nearly doubled from 6.7 billion euros in April to more than 12.5 billion euros.
As a result of EU sanctions, Russia’s oligarchs and institutions have lost access to assets worth more than 12.5 billion euros (about $ 13 billion). This was stated by the official representative of the European Commission for Justice Christian Wiegand, reports DW.
According to Wiegand, the value of the frozen assets of Russia’s oligarchs has almost doubled from 6.7 billion euros in April to more than 12.5 billion euros.
This is due to the fact that in recent weeks many objects belonging to the oligarchs of the Russian Federation have been identified and blocked, especially in Germany.
