Representatives supported several bills providing for removal from certain agreements within the CIS.
Parliament approved Ukraine’s withdrawal from certain agreements within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The decision was taken at a meeting on June 19. This was reported by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.
Thus, the people’s representatives supported the bill No. 0093 on withdrawal from the agreement on cooperation in the development and use of cellular mobile communication systems.
The Rada also voted for law No. 0103 on withdrawal from the agreement on the creation of an interstate reserve of biological products and other means of animal protection in the CIS.
In addition, Ukraine has also withdrawn from the protocol on amending the agreement on intergovernmental courier communications for the delivery of the official letter of the CIS bodies, which is concerned about the right of employees to keep and use the service weapons in accordance with national law.
Representatives also supported the draft law No. 0147 on withdrawal from the agreement on the support and development of small businesses in the CIS.
In addition, Law No. 0149 was adopted to terminate the agreement between the government of Ukraine and the government of the Russian Federation on scientific and technical cooperation.
Recall that the Rada banned Russian music in the media and public space.
