The United States will transfer equipment, including chemical protection kits, to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced on Friday, April 1, at a briefing by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
He stressed that Washington is conducting the aforementioned deliveries, taking into account the existing threats from Russia.
“In an effort to help our Ukrainian partners, the US government has donated protective equipment and supplies to the Ukrainian government that can be deployed in case Russia uses chemical and bacteriological weapons against in Ukraine. We are moving it along with some other materials and equipment, “said the spokesman.
In this regard, NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov, writing Ukrinform, acknowledged the possibility of Russia using chemical or biological weapons on the territory of Ukraine. He also mentioned that our state should be ready for this.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council also added that today not a single civilized country in the world wants to do business with the Russian Federation.
It will be recalled that Washington responded to the attack on the oil depot in Russian Belgorod. They stressed that “there is only one aggressor in this war – Russia.”
